| NEEDS ENGINE WORK: The mechanic's report (I have copy) says: "performed system diagnosis found coolant levels very low..performed further inspection found spark plug tips discolored with coolant. Repair recommendation is to replace headgasket (est. $2457) including t-belt service (overla p)..." If I can get a very good price I'll sell, else, I'll fix it myself and keep. I love the car and it's a rare beauty. The most fun car I have driven. It even says "Premier Edition" on an emblem on the center console--it's the first year that the Supra came out (June 1993) with this body style ("Mark IV"). Very much a collector's car. I have the original mats, books and I believe I have the original invoice from when first owner who bought it. More information: 1. Since I have owned it, it was hit lightly in the left rear quarter (same place!) on two different occasions. It was professionally repaired with some repainting of that quarter. 2. If you are serious, please email me. I am ready to sell. Serious inquiries only. 3. The car cannot be test driven for the following reasons: a. it is now unregistered and uninsured b. I do not want to damage the engine if too much coolant leaks out or if T belt goes 4. I have the written estimate for the engine work needed. 5. It has clear title--not salvage and not rebuilt. It had one owner (original owner) before me-he put approx. 40,000 miles on it--took very good care of it--then he traded it in to Toyota Dealer--then I bought it and have had it ever since. 5. Also, it has LOJACK and a talking Alarm System. 6. Has couple of very small rust spots, and could use new tires, I am told. 7. Battery has died since car has been sitting idle in my garage. Car recently professionally detailed. CD player acting up. 8. Sale is for "as is" condition. 9. Has Targa Top Roof. 10. NOT a turbo. 10. Automatic transmission |
